He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Joy McGaughey; his son Donald McGaughey of London; his sister Babs; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Noel, John Palkovic and Donald Gemmell.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas McGaughey (Elizabeth) of London and Cameron McGaughey of London; his grandchildren, Amanda (Todd), Ian, Katie (Ben) and Andrew; his sister Betty (Jim); his sister-in-law Phyllis Gemmell; and his daughter-in-law Joanne Marchand.
