He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Doelman (Noordam) and Nicolas Doelman; his son Gerald; and his siblings, Nicolas, William, Jacob, Peter, John, Mary and Margaret.

He is survived by : his wife Alice "Alie" Doelman; his children, Margaret McMann (Charles), Karen McGugan (Ed), Anne Reynen (Raymond) of Listowel and Nicholas Doelman (Brigitte) of Ottawa; his daughter-in-law Alice Doelman of Kinloss; and his siblings, Arend Doelman (Cootje) of Holland, Case Doelman of Washington State and Audrey Rademaker (Dick) of Washington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Food Grains Bank, Wingham Hospital Foundation or the charity of your own choice are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
