He was predeceased by : his father Robert Adams; his brother John Adams; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Pettigrew and Reg Watterworth (Mac). He is survived by : his mother Pauline Adams; his sisters, Andrea Pettigrew of Winnipeg, Carolyn Smith of St. Thomas, Mary Lou (John Stewart), Janet Watterworth (Duncan MacPherson) and Colleen (Terry Zinn); and his pets, Lenny and Sarah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
