She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Alton of Lucknow; her parents, Mary Stewart (Park) and Arthur Stewart; her sister Joyce Caesar; her siblings-in-law, Paul Caesar, Kathleen Alton and Susan Alton; and her stepmother-in-law Mary Errington Rivett.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Alton (Laurie) of Lucknow, Blair Alton (Barbara) of London and Kent Alton (Jan) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Kelsie Murley (Ryan), Marlee Gowing (Ben), Scott Alton (Michelle), Benjamin Alton (Sarah), Tyler Brooks (Sarah), Dani Lindsay (Luke) and Mack Alton; her great grandchildren, Crew, Harvey Murley, Theodore, Penelope Gowing, Samuel Alton, Addison, Nora Brooks, Gus, Helmi, Tavi and Fitz Lindsay; her brothers, Norman Stewart (Norma) and Richard Stewart (Leslie); and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Henderson (Paul) and Lorne Alton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home (595 Campbell St, Lucknow, ON N0G 2H0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lucknow Chapel (505 Havelock St, Lucknow, ON N0G2H0). A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the Dungannon Cemetery.
