She was predeceased by : her husbands, John Clayton Alton and George Taylor; and her siblings, Marlow Crowston, Bud Crowston, Clarence Crowston and Cecilia Laidlaw.

She is survived by : her daughters, Anne Snyder (Kevin) of Breslau and Lynn Horst (Phares) of St. Jacobs; her grandchildren, Addison, Michaella, Bronwyn, Lauren, Nathan and Seth; her great grandchild Ethan; and her sister Myrtle Irwin of Lucknow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
