He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sheppey and Margaret Sheppey; his son Jeffrey Sheppey; and his siblings, Charlie and Janet.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Sheppey; his son Brent Sheppey (Ginger); his grandchildren, Alex, Melissa, Stephanie, Sarah and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Ryenne, Leo, Zachary, Iris, Archie, Josie, Jeffrey and Joey.
