We bid farewell to Ruth Holmes (Madoc, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2026 at the age of 105. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Holmes; her children, Garnet (late Shirley) and Bill (late Karen); her parents, William Fitzgerald and Fanny Fitzgerald; her brother Carl (Muriel); and her granddaughter Kate Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd (Gordy) and Bonnie Askey (Bruce); and her grandchildren, Celestine, Corinne, Martina, Scott, Matthew, Todd, Kelee, Tanya and Carrie. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
