He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matthews and Cora Matthews; his wife Lorna; and his siblings, Jean, Peg, George and Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie (Larry), Kim and Todd (Jenny). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Madoc (112 Durham St S, Madoc, ON K0K2K0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
