He was predeceased by: his child Dougie; his parents, Bernard Scott and Eileen Scott-Kerr (Whitmore); his stepfather Don Kerr; and his stepfather-in-law Henk Jonkman.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Scott (Lindsay); his children, Chad (Jessica) and Layne (Emma); his grandchildren, Ava, Everson and William; and his siblings, David Scott (Bev) and Chris Scott (Lauren). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Reception Centre (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Brockville and Area Community Foundation (Douglas Scott Jr. Memorial Endowment Fund), or Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
