With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Blacklock (Maitland, Ontario), who passed away on December 1, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Harold Shannon; and her husband George Blacklock. She is survived by : her siblings, Hugh, John, Lorne, Donald Rainey, Muriel Mac Millian, Mabel Eamer, Ethel Lang and Maggie Rainey; and her children, Jack Shannon (Yolande), Dwayne Shannon, Sharon Bender (Elwyn), Caroline Bender (Lorne), Brenda Raycroft (Lorne) and Cindy Gorrie (George). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

In memory of Eva, donations can be made to the St Lawrence Lodge Foundation for palliative care.
