James Pickard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Pickard (Maitland, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Galvin; and his parents, Jeanne Pickard and William Pickard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pickard; his children, Christina Pickard (Paul Porteous), Matt Pickard (Amy) and Allison Myre (Jason); his grandchildren, Sierra, Keitha, Paige, Cooper, Nathan, Danika and Avery; his sister Susan Pickard (Cameron Quilliam); and his sibling's children, Trevor, Eric Budd and Carolyn Galvin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Reception Centre (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Salem Masonic Lodge No. (2803-2817 Concession 2 Rd, Brockville, ON K6V5T1).
Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville or Sherwood Park Manor Legacy of Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
