He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Bert" Shewfelt and Verna Shewfelt; his former wife Susan Shewfelt; and his wife Penny Tersigni. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Debbie) of Georgia, USA and John (Kim) of New Brunswick; and his siblings, Kenneth, David, Brian and Joan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
