He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Magee and Dorothy Magee (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jane Kroeker (Ken) of Ottawa, Peter (Anne Rogers) of Invermere and Colin (Michele) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Blair and Maryn; and his sister Lois Boswell (late Bill).
