Patricia (Swift Karn) Alden Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia (Swift Karn) Alden of Maple, Ontario, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Swift and Alice Best; her former life partner Arnold Alden; her husband Dr. Willard J. Karn; her children, Brian Alden and Sharon Cattle; and her siblings, Jimmy, Johnny, Eileen and Alison.

She is survived by : her children, Joanne Young of Brownsville, Sandy Cattle (George) of Brownsville, Susan Weber (Nino Petrolia) of Edmonton, Alberta, John Alden (Melody) of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Shelley Longdo (Larry Hughes) of Brownsville and Jeff Alden (Patty Smith) of Tillsonburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 attendance-related restrictions, a private Graveside Service to Remember Patricia will take place in the Delmer Cemetery, by Rev. Pat Cook, voluntary associate minister at St. Paul's United Church, Tillsonburg.

Memorial Donations in memory of Patricia to the "Alzheimer Society of Oxford" or to the "ALS Society of Canada" would be gratefully acknowledged by the family and can be made through the Maurice J.
