She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene "Gene" Demeyere; her children, Michael Demeyere and Kim Demeyere; her grandson Andy Seres; her son-in-law Doug Gower; and her siblings, Isabell Russell, Bonnie Langille and George Demeyere.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Demeyere (Anne) of Dorchester, Gail Steyaert (Tony) of Tillsonburg, Jennifer Crowe (Don) of Tillsonburg, Lisa Seres (Andy) of Tillsonburg and Laurie Kirwin (Jeff) of Courtland; her grandchildren, Carrie Sholdice (Craig), Paul Demeyere (Kerri), Gillian Klimchuk (Dennis), Jason Demeyere (Nicole), Emily Rivers, LeeAnn Thompson (Kyle Jacob), Becky Seres, Hayley Vuylsteke (Kyle Hollister) and Olivia Barclay (Chad); her daughter-in-law Candice Demeyere; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jean Demeyere and Cyril Demeyere (Roma). She is also survived by 24 great – grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

A Private Liturgical service will be celebrated for Ruby at Ostrander's Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, (519) 842-5221, and will follow all COVID restrictions and guidelines.

Memorial donations to the London University Hospital Transplant Unit would be appreciated by the Demeyere family.
