He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Kenneth Hughes and Elaine Sutherland; and his mother Gladys Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Glen Hughes (Ann-Marie) of Windsor Junction and Lloyd Hughes (Sharon) of British Columbia; his grandchildren, Michael Hughes (Meaghan Matheson), Elizabeth Hughes, Erin Hughes and River Hughes; his great grandchildren, Rebekka, Tessa Hughes-Keddy and Faye Matheson; his siblings, Vernice Axent and James Hughes (Kathryn); and his father George Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
