Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laura Spourdalakis of Marathon, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 80, on October 3, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Chevrier and Veronica Chevrier; and her siblings, Marie (Ray McClelland), Myrdie (Kurd Appelkvist), Kay (Charlie Salonen), Edna (Brian Blair) and Thomas (Ann Chevrier).

She is survived by: her husband Marinos Spourdalakis; her son Michael (Lindsay); and her grandchildren, Brody, Kosta, Aliesha and Klea. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Should friends so desire, a donation in Laura's name may be made to Wilson Memorial General Hospital or the Greek Orthodox Holy Trinity Church, or a charity of your choice.

I worked for Marinos and Nora at the motel one summer and I remember getting a ride back and forth to work with Nora who had just gotten her drivers license.
