She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerrit Verwey and Jaantje Verwey (Dekkers); and her siblings, Jacoba Mueller, Peter and Gerrard Verwey.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christina Merrifield (Cecil) of Sparwood, B. C. and Janet Meyers (Jim) of Mount Forest; her grandchildren, Kevin (Leslie), Karen (Nat), Troy, Wendy (Sven), Jeff (Mary), Jason (Carey) and Joey (Monica); her great grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Jesse (Lindsay), Kris (Maria), Kyle, Kaitlyn (Adam), Darren, Brayden, Cheyenne, Claudia, Chloe, Shae, Seth, Sarissa, Colin, Luke (Christiny), Renee, Ava, Trey and Summer; her great great grandchildren, Sullivan and Rachel; and her siblings, Nellie Day, Wilma Irvin, Janie Hammer, Gerrit Verwey and Willem Verwey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
