He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wain and Emily Wain; and his brother Derek Wain. He is survived by: his wife Corina Wain; his sisters, Brenda (Phil DoAmaral), Sandra Phillips, Debra (John Parkes) and Suzanne (Dave Robinson); his parents-in-law, Rudolf and Elfriede Roehrl; and his sister-in-law Linda Roehrl. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at 0 available Close. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Markdale Baptist Church (144 Lorne St, Markdale, ON N0C1H0).
