Lyall Ratcliffe Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyall Ratcliffe (Markdale, Ontario), who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Doug Ratcliffe; his parents, Mac Ratcliffe and Marie Ratcliffe; and his father-in-law Elmer Quigley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ratcliffe of Markdale; his children, Jody Bott (Adam) of Mount Forest and Cory Ratcliffe (Margo) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Katie Bults (Branden), Jacob Bott (Jadyn), Zach Bott (Bailey Sabila), Madi Bott, Connor, Sydney and Harper Ratcliffe; his siblings, Ken Ratcliffe (Anna), Linda Rice (Ken) and Don Ratcliffe (Jen); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Ratcliffe. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Markdale Golf and Curling Club (85 Edith Ave, Markdale, ON N0C1H0).
