It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera May Playter of Markdale, Ontario, who passed away on May 26, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Playter; her sons, Earl and Harold; her parents, John C. Stentiford and Eva May (Jones); and her brothers, Allan Stentiford (Lorraine Rogers) and Jack Stentiford.

She is survived by : her children, Phyllis Playter Hodgkinson Berkeley (Ron), Norman Owen Sound (Jackie), Gordon Fort Frances (Christina), Melvin Owen Sound (Debby) and Douglas Durham (Bridget).
