It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Pires (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on June 4, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Olga; and his child Ashley. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lisa (Kip), Richard (Marissa), Rochelle, Lauren and Scott; his great grandchild Faheem; his siblings, Ricky (Rosalind), Bella (late Joe), Anslem (Flora), Arthur (Marie), Alex (Sophie), Adolph (Catherine) and Rita (Bonnie); and his siblings' children, India and England.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
