He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben and Christina Stewart; his siblings, Gwen and Kenneth; his wife Sybil Stewart; and his children, Leon Stewart and Marilyn Christie (Ancel Christie).
He is survived by: his siblings, Heddis, Cleveland, Phyllis and Millicent; and his children, Margaret Poole, Tony Stewart (Lisa Burtenshaw) and Monique Channer (Anthony Channer). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R5G1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
