He was predeceased by: his father Bernardino. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Mark (Martina) and Kevin (Elise); his grandchildren, Owen and Juliette; his mother Vittoria; and his brothers, Joe (Mary) and Tony (Stephanie).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers can be sent to Highland Funeral Home to honour Ben or donations be made to a charity of your choice, with the Cancer Society or the MS Society being wonderful options in honour of Ben's compassionate spirit.
