She is survived by: her spouse Klaus Spies; her children, Isabelle (Peter) and Eric (Aruna); her grandchildren, Eric Schwenger, Ryan Schwenger and Sophie Spears; and her siblings, Marie-Ange, Paul, Lucille and Michel. She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.
