She is survived by: her husband Vincenzo Schifitto; her son Gaetano (Concetta); her grandchildren, David (Nicole), Daniel (Kateryna), Angelyssa, Vincenzo and Giuseppe; her great grandchild Kaitlyn; and her siblings, Paolina Ruscica and Salvatore Sgandurra.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Patrick's Parish (5633 Hwy 7, Markham, ON L3P1B6). An entombment was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4). A reception was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1).
