He was predeceased by: his niece Melanie. He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Lalonde; his child Jay Lalonde (Sashy); his grandchild Tiffany Lalonde; his parent-in-law Ann Coulter; his sibling Marnie (Jim Munn); and his siblings-in-law, Nick (Sheila Coulter), Bonnie (Roger Kelly), Penny (Chuck Luciano) and Jackie (Pat Monaco).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's name to Markham Stouffville Hospital or Northumberland Hills Hospital.
