Denis O'Connor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denis O'Connor (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on September 12, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur O'Connor and Margaret O'Connor (Dalton); his siblings, George, Marguerite, Patricia, Morgan, Helen, Gerri, Terry (Colleen), Maurice and Moira Ste Marie (Ron); his grandparents, Urs and Denis; Carl, Sr., Theresa and Victor Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Ursula; his children, Brian (Sheli), Maureen, Cathy (David), Eileen (Remy) and Monica (Stephen); his grandchildren, Kaeli, Denis (Nicole), Keegan (Sara), Brennan, Nicole, Stephanie (Henry), Matt (Kaitlin), Connor (Rachel), Cara, Estelle, Marina, Claira and Justin; his great grandchild Frederick; his in-laws, Paul (Patricia), Michael (Jan) and Barbara Matthews; Marilyn O'Connor. He is also survived by Cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dixon - Garland Funeral Home (166 Main Street N, Markham, ON L3P 1Y3). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church (345 Glad Park Ave, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1E4). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
