With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dirk Jan Fintelman (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on March 13, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Evertje; and his brothers, Rudy, Art, Peter and Arnold.

He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Albert (Melanie), Rick (Diana), John (Georgia-Lea) and Deborah (David); his grandchildren, Erica (Brian), Brent, Joel (Elena), Andrew, Jessica, Timothy, Desiree, Benjamin, Gerard, Emily, Lydia and Jacob; his great grandchild Everett; his siblings, Marie, Eefjie, Jane and Rick; and his siblings-in-law, Tina, Marion, Jack, Eleanor, Henny, Neil and Ross.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heritage Reformed Church (Bradford) or to a charity of your choice. **PLEASE NOTE: Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and announcement from Premier Doug Ford, we are now in a state of emergency and have a limit to the number of guests that can be in attendance within the funeral home.
