He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret (Baker); his sons, Paul (Milena) and Brian; his grandchildren, Lauren Hobbs, Brandon and Maya Hobbs; his sister Betty Jean Ball of London; his brother-in-law Kirby Baker (Betty); his sibling's children, Pamela Ball (Art), Jennifer Prgesa (Goran), Erin McClure (Boyd) and Derek Baker (Mitisha); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Lily Szoczi, Reid McClure and Dohn; and his parents, Mildred Hobbs and William Hobbs.

A private family graveside service will be held at Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Lakeside.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christ Church Cemetery fund Lakeside, or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
