He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Marjorie; and his children, Thora Georgakas (Jim), Margaret Reardon (Todd), Diana Thoms (James), Leo Reardon, Declan Reardon, Seraphina Thoms, Hunter Thoms, Elise Georgakas and Theo Georgakas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation and the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
