She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Alonzo Gooding and Flossie Gooding; her daughter Karen Jones (McDowell); and her siblings, Eldon, Vernon, Gordon, Evelyn Milstead, Dorothy Winger, Dorine Doner and Ruth Christilaw.

She is survived by : her sons, Donald (Annette) and Brian (Teodora); and her former life partner Kenneth Jones.
