It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Kardassopoulos of Markham, Ontario, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her children, John Kardassopoulos (Lian), Banayot Kardassopoulos (Mary), Katie Kawalit (Bassam) and Vera Khoury (late Issa); her grandchildren, Hanada, Reem, Peter, Charlie, Natalie, Steve, Dawn and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathon, Julia, Elena, Xavier, Thomas, Nicky, Tristan, Damien, Alexandra and Jaden.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her memory made out to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
