With sadness, we share the passing of Filippo Bondi of Markham, Ontario. Filippo, born on February 16, 1937, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francesco Bondi and Marina Bondi; his siblings, Marina Morello and Salvatore Bondi; his wife Gina Bondi; his sons, Frank (Sandrine), Carmelo (Vania) and Roberto (Maria); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Elise, Marissa, Jacob, Nicholas and Julian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4). A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1).
