It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward McCowan (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on February 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Margaret McCowan; his parents, James Edward McCowan and Isabel Anderson Spark; his siblings, Jim McCowan and Marion Kurita; and his friends, Mary Borda, Cesar Narro, Shelley and Bryan. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00am at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home in Markham with attendance restricted due to COVID-19 measures.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Markham-Stouffville Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
