He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Margaret (Gibson); his children, Brian (Linda), Wayne (Eileen), Anne (Rick) and Lois; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Hannah, Theresa McPhee, Eric, Jane Rosin, Claire, Isobel and Marie Ramcharan.
