He is survived by : his wife Joann; his children, Linda (Bob), Catherine (RJ), Derek and Graham (Wendy); his grandchildren, Steven, Andrew (Amanda), Julia, Yvie, Luke, Nicholas and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Kendra and Kyelle; and his siblings, Harvard and Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's memory may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation or Markham Stouffville Hospital.

“I knew Gord for 38 years having met him at Ontario Hydro. Our working paths crossed but I knew Gord socially at many of the events we had primarily curling. Gord was kind enough to share his Maple Leaf tickets and we shared the same passion that some day for the cup. Gord was always a kind and caring man and we will miss him. RIP”
