She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Medland; and her son Ian Medland (Darlene Johnson). She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Bell (John Bell) and Kathryn Medland (Pierre Savoie); her siblings, Kaye Smith (late Jack Smith) and Bruce Taylor (Josie Taylor); her grandchildren, Earyn Wheatley (Emma Pullman), Rob Bell (Malisa Deodath), Evan Wheatley, Ryan Wheatley (Jenna Wheatley), Justin Bell, Shamith and Nisheka Samarakkody; and her great grandchild Matthew Bell. She is also survived by grandparents, aunts, and eventually her mother.
