He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef and Hedwig. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Edith Watters (Michael), Claus Mueller (Paula), Michael Mueller (Valeria) and Tanya Freeman (Eric); his grandchildren, Taylor Mueller, Cameron Watters, Avery Watters, Kody Mueller, Alexander Mueller, Sophie Freeman, Gabriella Mueller and Samuel Freeman; and his siblings, Berthold (Helga), Gertrud Gigler (Franz) and Wolfram. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
