He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Harding and Arthur Harding; and his sister Catherine Ann. He is survived by: his sister Ann Murphy; his sibling's children, Kathryn Saunders (Scott) and John Murphy (Hilary); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Joshua and Lauren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital, 1C Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice.
