She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan and Sarah; and her siblings, Evan Joseph Gardner and E. Elaine Gardner. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her son Brendan; her sister Delores Freeman (late John); her siblings-in-law, Larry O'Farrell (Renee) and Fran Haig (Ian); and her sibling's children, Janet Voith (Mike), Nancy Banks (Dale), Sandra Hogan (Wayne), Andrea O'Farrell, Juliet O'Farrell (Bryan Flood), Lindsey Rix, Erin Haig, Robin O'Farrell (Sarah) and Dean Haig.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A burial was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sandhill Cemetery (4448 Battersea Rd, Battersea, ON K0H1H0).
