He was predeceased by: his parents, Abdel Kareem Hanna Gharibo and Fahima Hadaya Gharibo; and his siblings, Yacoub (Josephine), Rosa (Benjamin), Edmond (Jacqueline), George (Jeanette), Mareen "Maro" (Ibraham), Hanna (Linda), Samira (Victor) and Georgette (Iskandar).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Victoria Iskander Gharibo; his children, Ursula Gharibo Nicola (Bishara Nicola), Valentina Gharibo (John Gharibo), Olivia Gharibo Gentile (Franco Gentile) and George Gharibo (Pia D'Alessandro-Gharibo); and his grandchildren, Michael Gharibo, Sarah Gharibo, Victoria Gentile, Joseph Nicola, Nelly Nicola, Anne Gentile, Ava Gentile and John George Gharibo.
