With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Peter Willan in Markham, Ontario, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Peter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Peter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R5G1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Catholic Church (345 Glad Park Ave, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1E5).
In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make a donation in Peter's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of their choice.
