She was predeceased by: her husband Lincoln Mo; her parents, Cho Chak Chan and Shuk Ying Fung; and her brother Albert Chan of Hong Kong. She is survived by: her children, Steven Mo (Joanne Boyer) and Christina McAfee (Christopher); her grandchildren, Jackson McAfee, Melody McAfee and Nicholas McAfee; and her siblings, Colin Chan (Ann) and Gladys Lam (Yiu Tong Lam).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Julia's memory may be made to Sunnybrook foundation with appreciation from the family.
