She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; and her siblings, Rose (late Nich Omotani), Tak (late Janet) and Seiji "Ralph" (Diane Stewart). She is survived by: her son Michael (Sian); her grandchildren, Caitlin and Corey; her siblings, Muts (late Min Nishikawa) and Kay (Ed Sasaki); and her sister-in-law Mich (Mossy Fukumoto). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers or Koden, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Evergreen Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
