Maria De Santis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 92, Maria De Santis of Markham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincenzo DeSantis; her parents, Vito Maida and Caterina Maida (LaCaria); and her siblings, Domenic, Peter, Gino, Bruno, Tony, Rosa, Grazia and Teresa.

She is survived by: her daughters, Grace Raponi (late Mario), Cathy Innamorato (David), Terri DeSantis (Greg Morochove) and Monica O'Brien (Kevin). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Justin Martyr Church (3898 Hwy 7, Unionville, ON L3R1L3). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4).
