She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Agnes Mary (Beth) and Allan Leslie Beattie. She is survived by: her husband Tony D'Ambrosio; her children, Heather and Mark Plath; her sisters, Elizabeth (James Greenshields), Barbara (Frank Aiello) and Leslie (David Prescott); her siblings' children, Daniel (Emily), Victoria (Mario LaValle), William Aiello, Ian and Eric Prescott; her stepchildren, Daniel D'Ambrosio (Kimberly), Sarah D'Ambrosio (Christopher Bekiaris) and Nicole Beverley (Kyle); her grandchildren, Lukas, Owen, Charlotte and Leo; and also Harold Plath. She is also survived by many cousins and other members of her extended family.
