She was predeceased by: her parents, Madam Grace Taylor of Saltpond and Abraham Pobee-Sem of Assin Nsuta; and her husband Prof. She is survived by: her aunt Ekua Fosua; her son-in-law Jean-Christophe Casu; and her children, Ekua Jameswa Mensah (Thaddeus P. Ulzen), Ranzie Mensah, Kofi Nunoo Mensah (Heather), Abena Mensah-Carr (Alan) and Ato Annan Mensah (Swanzette). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large community of friends.
