He is survived by: his wife Yae "Sandy"; his daughters, Erika (Barry) and Aimee (Roderick); and his grandchildren, Hailey, Kayla and Bodhi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel (10 Cachet Woods Ct, Markham, ON L6C3G1). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Kendo Federation or Kendo Ontario in Morito's memory.
