We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2019, at the age of 99, Nora Marjorie Zakhar (Markham, Ontario), born in Peterborough, Eastern passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Julius Zakhar; her daughters, Julie Chollet (Christophe), Tamara Brown (David) and Beverly Wootton (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Gillian and Erica.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Salvation Army, or Unionville Home Society.
